Question for you guys I'm looking for rotors and come across these from Brake Performance....



I like the look of slotted/drilled but I've read dimpled is the way to go because drilled tends to crack besides these dimpled/slotted rotors come with a life time warranty vs the 2 year drilled comes with.

Tell me if they are worth the $377 price tag and any other recommendations for rotors.....I'm keeping my stock calipers and gonna paint them, what color should I go with? Black or red would be my first two choices....Thanks in advance

All I I kno is red calipers! I kept my stock rotors and put ebc greens in yesterday and they're awesome!

Yeah my bad, they're the 265/40R22s, I was going off of memory since the truck is about 800kms away from where I'm working right now.

Your link won't come up on my work network, but I'll agree that the dimpled rotors are better compared to cross-drilled. The cross drilled creat a thermal ridge and have a greater chance of cracking at the hole. That said, the new alloys don't have much in the way of fatigue fractures like the old ones so the cracking is minimal and failures are very few and far between. I personally am running the EBC dimpled/slotted rotors, but the dimples are purely for appearance since they don't do anything for improving stopping performance. A pad upgrade would help with stopping the greater rotating mass from those wheels and help stop you a bit faster.

Oh, and red for the caliper, you need an accent color some some type or you'll end up like I did a while back and couldn't see any details on the truck as it was black on black on black.

Not a big fan of the kit its alot of money for a little change i saw it on the sema truck and its not really that huge of an upgrade for 800 bucks. But the rims look really good and as far as stripes do what i did tape them off plasti dip them so you can see if you like or not. I spent 5 hours doing mine to realize mine looked stupid with stripes

And i got cal covers cause i was tired of the paint chipping (and they will) unless you get them powder coated but i love the covers and its just enough red to go with my r/t badge
