Default 2006 Ram passenger mirror

Hi everybody, new guy on the block, have a question. Don't know if this is the right place to ask but I need to replace my passenger mirror(heated/power) on my 06 Ram Laramie. Seems one night my garage door opening shrunk and my truck wouldn't fit.Question is do I have to remove the door panel just to get to the three nuts holding the mirror in place. In other words is there enough play in the panel to just pull it back enough to get the bolts removed and plug for power replaced. Is the triangular trim piece covering the the bolts separate from the door panel (it looks like it but that would be just two easy)? Thanks for the help, oldgreentar.

I recently installed the tow mirrorson mine so I am familiar with the process. Remove the 4 screws with Philips heads from the door panel. Lift panel up so it comes loose at the top. You can the pull it out far enough at the top to access the 3 nuts and electrical plug.
