Default Battery/Charging Alert on... some days off??

(Indicates voltage level is below normal level and the vehicle's charging system is not functioning properly. Check battery terminals, alternator belt, and battery condition.)

I had my 2011 1500 serviced for tie-rods, cv boot, spark plugs. The next day I drove my truck 5hrs plus, this alert popped up. After driving my truck for some time my battery gauge leveled down, causing every other alert to pop on one by one. My radio, front windows would be non-functional

Then my battery level would rise to normal and the alerts would disappear and the radio and windows would function again. This continued to happen my whole journey, to cycle off for approx 5min and return to normal for about 15-30minutes.

I've checked and cleaned my battery contacts, my battery sits at 12.4 volts. I have no clue what is happening, and would appreciate some input.

Thanks

Could be something like a stuck brush in the alternator. The next time it happens, you should have it checked out. Did you check to see which codes are stored in the PCM?

Its sitting at the dealership right now from lastnight.

No I didn't check any codes. I did mention a stuck-brush. They're running diagnostics, and I'm waiting on a call back
