I put dry gas in it and topped it off and going to run the 150 mile round trip and see what it does. Worse case scenario, I get stranded and they have to tow it. Best case scenario, bad gas and it comes out of it. WIll see.
Please keep us updated about this problem . I feel so bad for you . They should have long ago replaced your truck . GOOD LUCK!

It seems my starting issue is fixed. The issue with the gear indicator is supposedly a biproduct of using the Quicklearn procedure, will see. It has not done it the last few days so it may be fixed as well. It seems I may have my truck back people I will keep you posted if any issues return, now that they know what caused it. It was fixed with 2 things. They replaced the solenoid pack in the tranny and added an extra ground to assist the battery to block ground. This combination seems to have worked, for those with the same issue, pass this info to your service dept. and get your trucks fixed. Good Luck!

Default Update:chrysler compensation

Ok , I am very happy since I got my truck back and it seems it is repaired. I don't see any issues right now and an starting to really gain my confidence back in my truck that it will start when I need it to, and that there will be some great times ahead. Wife does not know it yet, I am going to surprise her in the srping with a trip. She really misses my Sister in Florida since we moved back to Maine. I am gonna run the truck to Florida and see if I can pick up a nice travel trailer while there. I have never seen so many good deals on TT's as there are in FL. I can hardly wait. This will be the first trip with this truck, and wife and I love to travel by truck. The trips we made with my other Rams were very memorable and I can hardly wait.
Oh, back to my update, Chrysler called me to see where I was at on my truck, and they have opted to close the case. This includes a truck payment in compensation for my lost time of 16 days with my own rig. ( I always had a brand new vehicle when it was in the shop also, free of charge) The things they consider do not include your apprehension or low confidence level in your truck that keeps you from using it to it's full potential due to it not being reliable. Thus they don't consider the 4 months I did not dare to go any place off the grid, or to our beautiful camp at the pond (off the grid) or on any long trips during the summer. I guess I cannot blame them really since that would open up a huge can of worms probably. So long story long, lol, they put a check in the mail for 590.00 and a thank you for being a loyal Chrysler customer, case closed. I am satisfied and going to move on and get my truck where I want it to be on mods, and get back in the Ram life of traveling and having some fun with my Wife and Grandson, and our other neices and nephews that love to hang with us.
Thanks to all for your support and words of wisdom, and I hope that the fixes posted help anyone with the same issues. Keep on Rammin!

That's great news and I am glad it has all worked out for you. You certainly do need confidence when venturing far from home. Good luck in your travels to Florida. Enjoy.

jacksonsnorth - Thank you for all the detailed info! My truck left me stranded yesterday for the first time, doing exactly what yours was doing. Towed to the dealer, no codes stored and started just fine for them. They are planning to drive and attempt to duplicate it tomorrow. I'll try calling first thing in the morning and suggest they start with what fixed yours.

I read this entire thread and must say you are a very patient man, I would not have been able to last that long before blowing my top. I was sure they would blame the whole problem on your stubby ant. lol
You are a good man sir.

Hey guys....
Just another Hemi with a "no-start" issue.
My 2012 Sport just started doing the same thing as Jackson's.

I have read all of your "helps" and now I am off to the dealership to demand they fix this animal.

My '12 has 76,000 kms (Canada, eh!)... so I LIVE in my truck, and cannot afford the lost time in the shop. I also travel all over Northern Ontario...and Canada, so being stranded....REALLY means being stranded. Roadside assistance, my ass...ya gotta have a road...to get assistance!!

My main concern is that I to have a "stubby antenna" which they may blame this issue on...LMAO.

Anyway...all you guys ROCK...and thanks Jackson for your work...and of course, thanks Warlock for just crackin' us all up...all the time!!!
