I am gonna have a long talk with Chrysler and a few other people Monday morning. I cant do this anymore. i have owned Chrysler products for many years and I have never....NEVER...had issues like this. I will be posting my conversations on Monday. I have a good relationship with my Dealership and hope it stays that way, but lon story short..I have to think of my family and reliable transportation that I pay good money for every month. I buy new so I dont have to go through this. It is not working that way atm..thanks for the input..I will def keep everyone posted.

Man oh man... This is a joke. Seriously a Joke... Your tech is just playing a guessing game. The problem won't get fixed end of story... If he has a freaking light bulb taped and wired to your battery blinking on and off to try and fix why your BRAND NEW truck isn't starting. Not like it is a 2010 with 150k miles on it, or a 2011 with 75k miles on it. It is a brand spanking new hardly used 2012... A new truck or vehicle needs to be given, sold to you in a deal. You need to get rid of the truck, and I wouldn't blame you if you went to another brand... I love ram, but this is a hit miss problem some people happen to have with their trucks, and I am glad mine has not had a single problem people randomly end of getting *Knock on wood*... This problem to my knowledge of looking at the late 2010-2011 and some 2012 models has never been fixed... Just people posting 100 times about how their truck does it too and then they just give up... I could seriously not imagine living with somebody you care for and love with a disability have something happen to them where they need to be at the hospital ASAP. You get in your truck and you are having to literally have a heart to heart with god begging him to let your truck start. To have a tech taping 3 dollars worth of random Jerry rigged light bulbs to your truck to just BS you in to thinking he is trying to fix it. That truck has a gremlin, and if it does "Get fixed" I would still HATE to have the thought in my mind of "Will the problems come up again?" End of story, complain, and complain away... Go get down their throats. Be forceful, but not completely rude. Stand your ground and get something DONE.

Wow, sorry to here the BS you have to do to get your truck fixed, they should just lend you another truck till they fix yours, and if they can, just take it back and give you another one. Wow, shitty for sure, he could of at least put a small LED and not a freeken Huge light bulb in your way. Hope they figure it out real quick.

Time to quit being nice. I had a Honda that shut off at random, my wife's car. Same old can't duplicate b.s. from service writer. I was totally polite and professional until the 4th trip. I asked for the Manager, then I threatened to drive the car through his show room floor, and shove the keys where the sun don't shine. The good or bad part, was it took place in the showroom in front of 20 or so potential customers.. That made an impact! I told them not to contact me until the problem was resolved or they had a replacement car for me. 2 weeks later, the car was fixed with a new distributor shaft. I will never buy another Honda again thanks to that dealer.

I really love the Ram trucks and have had great experiences with all my other Rams, my wifes Stratus, and our awesome 120k miles 05 Magnum that I should have kept. I appreciate the posts and honestly I want another Ram at this point. The 2 new issues arising tell me I am gonna have further problems with this truck. My question to those with experience dealing with similiar issues with a truck that is new and has this many problems, who should I deal with first. Should I take it to the Dealer first, I have a Chrysler case open on this truck right now. I dont think they would approve of what I have on my truck, the jerry rigging so to speak. I just cant see this going anywhere fast and I am tired of dealing with it now. I will keep checking to see if anyone has any other ideas how best to handle this. Thanks for your current ideas. Much appreciated.

I'd contact your Attorney General's Office. Then Ram. No help, then a lawyer. A decent one will get things moving.

I agree, you need to go somewhere else quick and get that amateur diagnostics setup off your truck. These trucks have onboard diagnostics that are suppose to pin point the problem if you have the right equipment to connect up to it. The entire starting process is computer controlled and I'd be shocked it they designed this software without any diagnostics error codes. Get to a dealer that knows their s&*t as fast as possible.
