I know for the cost everyone says don't use them but if no one uses them how are we really supposed to know if there really is a difference/benefit. Just my. 02. I'll get back to everyone later.

I ran msd spark plug wires one year, towards the end i was getting misfire issues..started checking everything and it turned out to be the wires so i never recommend them..same thing happened to a local member here, tryin to get emissions tested.. he was getting random misfires..as soon as he told me he had msd wires i told him to swapem out, sure enough, he did and problems went away and he tested fine...

Like they said above me, modern systems are pretty good, and as long as they are functioning properly, there's not really any room for upgrade. I have never seen any real proof that aftermarket coils or wires made an improvement in performance(on a modern vehicle).

OK never mind. Shorties and NGK Iridium plugs work in my hemi anyway and they're not supposed to.

Not sure if you are being sarcastic, wasn't trying to be a jerk in my post, just trying to save you money.

Who says shorties and iridiums don't work in the hemi?

Wasn't being sarcastic and on this forum and others the majority of members say Shorties and iridium/platinum are no good in the hemis. I just checked some of mine after 35,000 miles and the gap is still good, coppers would already need to be changed.

Not sure that I've heard that about iridiums, but I think iridiums are great. I doubt there's any performance increase but they last waaaay longer.
