Oem truck vs modified truck.
I don't know if any of you guys have actually seen the frame on the raptor, they are certainly not junk.

Sounding like GM fans attacking non issues and creating false issues out of them.

The raptor is an awesome truck. Period

I really hope RAM builds a competitor.

Ya now google all the problems with them. they cant handle what ford claims. they sell a reinforcement kit for the craptors. they admit they have a problem.

^^ This

If you actually read the entire thread ou would learn something. Every case of bent frames is caused by drivers doing stupid things that even professional truck drivers wouldn't do. Next you're going to claim that Jeeps are defective because they get stuck in mud on trails.

I have to admit that I've always hated Ford and their trash talkers but I've never heard anything bad about their frames. As a matter of fact I use to hear a lot of bitching from bodyshop owners about how hard it was to straighten their frames on the frame racks. I like Chevy but I can't say the same for the ones I've owned. It use to turn my stomach (and I mean that) when I'd see my beautiful new truck almost bend in half on the mufler/tire racks. But all of this frame crap doesn't matter, the Ram Runner whooped it. What ifs, had it been for this and that almost and which one cost more does not count. Btw, I have one freind with a black 2010 I beleive and one with a brand spanking new silver one and I have picks of the new silver one. It does look pretty well put together too. But it also looks to be heavy and slow and not as sharp as the Ram Runner...the winning truck.

The original poster mentioned the price of the Ram Runner kit.

KORE designed that kit and makes it for Mopar. You can get the same kit directly from KORE. It's called the "Tactical Series".

Costs half the price from KORE - and, according the instruction PDF, KORE offers a warranty.

why all the ecoboost dogging... I had one it out-towed my 12 ram hands down, going up hills with 6k lbs on the back the ecoboost rarely ever even downshifted, was like driving a diesel my ram struggles with 6k lbs any slight grade and it's down to 3rd or 4th really freaking annoying calling them a grocery getter is just un-educated go drive one before you dog it, the biggest thing it loses out on is the sound of the hemi it sound horrible with the turbo noise but it's got a ton of low end torque

I saw the Ram Runner for the first time at PRI 2 years ago... was still dirty from the testing... Loved it! With a full cage and some lightening of it... would be a seriously fun ride.
