Default Dashboard cracking

I'm a newcomer and originally posted this in the wrong forum (Heating and Cooling) because I am still learning to maneuver through the pages. Here's my post:

I have a 2003 Ram that I bought new and after 255K miles on it I'm considering a 2015 Laramie. If you're familiar with the Rams of the 2003 era, you know about the cracking dashboards - mine did too! My research on the problem found that the cracks were the cause of bad design, poor plastic raw materials and faulty installation from the factory, but Dodge doesn't stand behind it. My question is whether or not the current generation of Rams have rectified that problem - Are they still having problems with cracking?

Yup, I have 210,000 on my 05 Ram, no cracks. I do once in a while wipe the dash with, get this, Lemon Pledge. Sorry, love the smell. My only problem: Keeping rear tires on her.
