take the pcv off and get one of the big filters from advance, then you dont have to worry about the throttle body and intake gumming up for a lot longer as it wont be sucking oil in and it will not hurt anything venting this way
Don't do this! Those little filters are very restrictive and will cause excess crank case pressure, most likely blowing out a seal/gasket in time(usually the rear main seal on the crankshaft). Also, they will gunk up and become clogged in time. Also, they will make your engine compartment covered with oil/grease.

The pcv system is very good, only needing a new or cleaned pcv valve every ~100,000 miles. The valve is usually less than $5.

If you want to avoid gunk in the intake put a catch can between the pcv valve and the manifold, you'll keep the good pcv without causing other issues, and will keep the gunk out of the intake.

How much did you put in?

The problem is that if you have "gunk" for lack of a better term in the engine and the seafoam breaks it up and it can clog the oil filter screen, causing a blockage in oil flow. With a newer vehicle it's fine I'm sure though. I've heard of this only on old(like 15 year old, 200,000 mile) vehicles that weren't maintained well.

i put maybe a third in, I was just reading that the seafoam breaks down the oil, well makes it thinner reducing its ability to hold itself and clean. I have been doing regular oil changes every 3000 miles so I would hope not much gunk would be in there.

So final verdict is im good till the next oil change in 3000 miles?

good to know! Just one last thing ill add in I work outa town all week and leave my truck parked and only drive it on weekends, will this hurt it with the seafoam cause its sitting in there longer before I hit 3000miles?

And I was wondering what oil you use, weight, and filter!

It'll be fine. Just don't use it all the time. I'd only use it like every 50k miles or so.

5w20, I use amsoil as I get it really cheap. I use the "O.E. synthetic", it's their cheapest oil. It's good for whatever the oem recommended oil change interval is, but I just do mine at 5k miles. I use a WIX filter.

yeah most places will do that. In reality the oil doesn't make much difference if changed on time. Synthetic is definitely better and especially for the price(since you can get it at the same price as conventional). Use a good filter. Don't use a regular cheap fram, they are not good. The expensive frams are ok, wix, napa gold, mopar, many others....I'd assume a mobil filter would be good.
