^I'm sure if you looked at the values you would see that it has, you just don't notice it. I'm not sure if diablo gives you that capability but I can monitor desired and actual line pressures with my SC.
Since I didnt check it before I installed it, I simply went by what it felt like...and if it still feels the same, Why would it matter what the actual pressure reads?
Because it's probably not actually different, you just think it is. I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything, but it's just the way it works. It will give a temporary firmer shift, then adjust back to stock line pressures. How long that takes to adjust back I'm not exactly sure but I'd guess less than a tank of gas.
Then if you remove it you will have sloppy shifts because it will have to adjust back up to proper line pressures(to stock).
I completely understand the concept of how the computer adjusts itself. What I am saying is that since we don't know the before and after actual pressures so there is no number to visually see, the only gauge is the "feels like" gauge..then if the feels like is still there after driving it, apparently the pressure haven't adjusted back to what they were. I tow a lot and I can assure you that the firmer shifts are still there and the trans. temps seem to be running lower under the same conditions on the same routes. Due to this, I would guess that the pressures are still higher than they would be before adding it.
I put mine through the test towing my TT home last weekend after removing the line booster and it didn't take more than a couple of miles to adjust, I couldn't tell any difference whatsoever after removing it other than no more fault codes.
