is it possible to take out a 5.7L Hemi of a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega cab, and then drop in a 5.9L Cummins?? is there any SERIOUS mods i would have to do to the body?? or is it just a swap of engines and drive trains?? please help!

It has been done before but there are many things that need to be done to make it fit. You need the entire 5.9l drivetrain and engine harness, new fuel tank, front springs from a HD and a mess of fabricating skills if you want to do it yourself.

dang...i was hoping it wouldn't be to bad. and no i wouldn't do it myself. i'm in a town of a lot of diesels and they have clan type cliques i guess so i can go to them. after i take out the Hemi. but i think this would be an awesome build! just a ram 1500 with a cummins...that's not common. would it be hard to make it fit??

Why not just trade/sell it?

Sell it or trade on one. You'll be time and money ahead by a longshot.
Then longbed that mofo, that would be awesome

Not to bust your bubble, but a 1500 mega-cab is actually a 2500.
