Well I found this just from looking around. Looks like they are testing something with that Ram.

Enjoy the read!

pretty hard to believe but you have to remember that is imperial gallons assuming RT's buddy is Canadian, Canadian gallons are bigger so the MPG appears as more, 23 mpg IMP. is 19.5 mpg U.S which is a little more believeable for a stock truck with no emissions stuff, but lifted with 37's is a bit harder to believe.

Wonder how a 4bt would do... And like was said many times above, the emissions crap is redonculous. Exhaust fluid? That is something we used to say as a prank, right along with blinker fluid, board stretchers, and a sky hook. Now you really got to have the stuff!

I'm from Canada too. I know about the gallons. Anytime myself, or my friends ever calculated our diesel pickups they were in the 16-18mpg range.

There are old diesel chevy 1/2s tons out there still getting 27-30 miles to the gallon [Imperial] What do we really need 390 HP for? They should make a 4 cylinder diesel with 225 HP and 35 miles to the gallon. I'd buy one. My other vehicle is a VW diesel with 100 HP and 60 miles to the gallon, 45 miles to the gallon when I tow a 1000 lb trailer.
I did buy the Ram 5.7 Hemi anyway, love the torque even if I don't need it. Go figure.

I'd love a small full efficient diesel 1/2 ton, would make towing the boat a lot nicer, I hate getting single digit fuel numbers when towing lol

1/2 Diesel is one of the best things they could add to the market!
