I have a 2010 quad cab 2500 HD. It is going into a shop in the morning to get the CV U-joints replaced. It has 76000 miles on it and it makes all kinds of strange noises when you turn the wheel hard either way.

Well it's back in for round 2... I was emailed a survey about my visit at the dealer and filled it out. I get a call from the general manager he apologized and told me to bring it back to have another tech look at it. The Mecanic said he will find the problem and also fix the rear window. Well it's been 2 days now and hopefully I get it back Monday. It is crazy how the service advisor said its normal, he has no clue.

my cv joints in my 04 dakota made it act like that sometimes! good luck and let me know the wobble sounds like the 04 rams problem with the steering to make it wobble... my dads does that every once in a while

this might not be your problem but i bought my truck and after about 20,000 miles i noticed a popping noise from the steering system and it felt kinda loose. I took it to the dealer and they couldn't figure it out after several hours so i decided to get down and fix it myself only to find that apparently the steering linkage bolt at the near the base of the drivers floor board was put in backward from the factory, basically it only threaded on one side so that when the bolt in tightened it crimps the linkage down. since it wasn't secured over time it slowly loosened to where i could hear it.
