Default 2012 Ram odometer display doesnt work.

Hi, I have a 2012 dodge ram with 4800 miles and the odometer display screen does not work sometimes. The back light will light up but nothing will display. I call the dealer and they said that they can only fix it if it isnt working when they have the truck. Its hard to get the truck over to them because it works more than it doesnt. I got intot he truck this morning to go to the store and the display worked, when I came out of the store it didnt work. I tried turning the truck off and back on several times and it still didnt work. When I got home I parked it in the driveway and when I got back into the truck a few hours later it worked again. Anyone have a clue whats going on here. Thanks, Jim

I have found in instances like this, its easier to take a picture.

If I get home and my truck continues its stalling problem, i will be mounting a video camera and have it pointed at me/my gauges from the middle of the headliner. My dealer doesn't think it stalls but it does. Its only at low speeds. Never done it on the hwy.

I agree take a picture when it happens. Also this may sound stupid but check your dimmer switch. At night I dim the dash panel and the next time when I drive it during the day (can be a couple of days in between) I freak out for a sec because I cant see anything
