hey gang, been a while, my '07 5.7 4x4 SLT has been treating nicely for the past year and a half
. I'm now looking at replacing the tires. I'm going to a 17" diameter from the 20" to save money! There I said it, I'm cheap and I said it haha!
Anyway, the 100.00 per tire difference is the reason to go with the 17" (I already have a set).
So, I'm looking at the Toyo M55's for year round use, driving from Kamloops to Fort St James once a month for about the next two years. So for those who don't know these locations, it's from the interior of British Columbia up to the central part, from semi-desert to boreal forest areas. Snow, rain, black ice, temps to -30 C or so up north and blowing snow, rain, black ice down in the interior during the winter, summer temps up to 35-40 C.
What do you think about using an E load on the 1500? I'd say my highway driving will account for about 60%.
Has anyone here driven on or is currently driving on M55's with a half ton PU?
Thanks in advance
