Default Dash Pad Replacement. Options.

Guys,

I am working on my sister's 2001 Ram 1500. Like many, the dash is completely shot. What are the options for replacing these? I called a local salvage yard and he is looking. However, I imagine this will lead to a dead end. Are there affordable aftermarket options? The dash was so bad, that I ended up removing the entire pad (in about 50 pieces).

Thanks,
Pal

Is this part designed to fit over an exisiting dash (an overlay?)? Mine was so bad that I had to remove the entire dash so there wouldn't be anything to attach an overlay to.

I think you are correct. I guess I didn't read it very well... LMC truck has a new dash for 220. http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/de/full.aspx?Page=93
