U can't say low 14s at best when there is a stock express truck on this forum is running 13.8. I don't remember who it was but they are on this forum. And you guys were praising him up and down. Saying he has a amazing truck Bla bla bla. So if the track is off take 1 whole sec and add it on. my best time on there was a 8.046 with a 2.119 60 ft. So calculate that with 1.55 and what do you get 14 sec flat. There is that better. Dam

I believe the truck you are tlkn about is actually a work truck with the light 17s and 3.92s tht ran a 13.9. Not sayings its not possible to run a high 13 but it would have to be like 30* outside and everything would have to go perfect. Noone is trying to down you or the truck buts its just not a believable time. You should be outrunning new 5.0 mustangs and camaros if your trucks that fast.

I tell you what I'm racing my father in laws 2011 ss convertible stock they run 13.0 flat and if I beat him with video proof. Then will you believe me. Or will I here more hipe. I mean this track has laser reading as soon as you go it starts and as soon as you pass 1/8th mile mark it stops. Not much for error is there? I mean the track is in good shape. All the equipment is new the track was built late 2006. Or am I missing something I mean how can a track mess up

You do know that Two-Lane Blacktop Dragstrip is only a 500 foot track right? Not 1/8 mile (660 ft). That's why the numbers don't add up.

hahahahahahaha. son of a b..... are you kidding me.. dam i didnt relize that. they said 1/8th mile. when i got there.(first time i went to any track) newbie braket racer. so if its 500 ft what would it convert to 660 times i mean going 72+ another 160 feet aint much going that speed. so i should be at 78...79 right. is there a drag calc that can convert to 1/8th... im sorry guys i never knew. dam i feel like crap.. btw where do you see the 500 ft i went on there website. and cant find it. but i do remember seeing 500 ft on the race track but i went till i saw a line on the blacktop. 100+ feet after. cause i thought it was the finish line. bla haha

Don't feel like crap, it's an easy mistake to make. As far as times, they have some formulas on their website but I don't agree with them. It says your truck would go 10.08 @ 78 which isn't even close to correct. I logged mine (got to love stealing electronics off the race car) when I went to the track. At 500 feet it was 8.09 @ 68, at the 1/8 it was 9.61 @ 75, at the 1/4 it was 14.88 @ 94. The 1/8 and 1/4 times matched my time slip pretty close so I have confidence in them.

Your et is very close to mine but higher mph so I can't make a guess with complete confidence but maybe 9.5 @ 78?

Sure would like to make it out to Two-Lane Blacktop someday with my Jeep, love those hole-in-the-wall tracks. We had one up here for a couple years but it sits in limbo with the lawyers now.

Just caught your edit, the only place they mention the 500 ft is in the "news from Daniel" section. I knew it was 500 ft because we had this exact same thing happen on another forum, lol.

the converter states i add a second to my time and that will be my 1/8th so my 1/8th mile is a 9.046 times it by 1.55 equals. 14.02 in the 1/4.. wait thats exactly what i said earlier. ha. sweet i iwas right on. ok and my mph calculator...my mph on the same run was 72.72 i times that to 1.06 for 1/8th which equals to 77.08. so now for the 1/4 mile from 1/8 i times the 77.08 x1.25= 96.35 mph.....

SO. LADYS AND GENTLEMEN. MY ACTUAL REAL TIME IS 14.02 1/4 and a 96.35 mph. how bout them apples. BAM

Where did you see that? They said to multiply your time by 1.25?
