Default Plasti dipping badges questions?

i painted my trucks badges on the weekend and ran into a couple problems. The front badge turned out great (i took badge off from grill, easy to do just pop clips off), but the rear i didnt know if ti would be easy to take off and put back on so i painted it on the truck still... didnt turn out very nice, lots of little holes around and some areas of clumping and not very even all around. Question is can you just use some fishing line to take this badge off and then stick it back on with some glue? anybody have this issue and figure out a good strategy for best looking paint job??
Thanks

I painted by rear badge by just taping off around the edge. There was no need to take it off, (though I think it is just double sided tape so fishing line is fine.)

It sounds like there was an issue with the prep work. Was the badge cleaned first? How even were the strokes? Did you allow time to dry between coats?

Clumping and not very even sounds like you were a bit heavy on the coating. Try lighter coats. The first two coats you should still see some of the badge underneath.

Good thing is you can just peel it off and start again.
How about some pics?

I sprayed my back and it turned out great. Just hold the can about 8 inches away and spray light coat first, wait 10 minutes and spray 2 or 3 more medium coats. Its hard to do smaller items simple because your used to bigger items where it takes more spray to cover.
