Time for the next batch of mods!

Got the 85MM Thorttle Body along with the Vararam Intake installed today.

The goods:

Install time was about five minutes I guess...some of the easiest mods by far. Defiantly felt like it had more power. The TB made throttle response better and the intake made the truck pull a bit harder once it got into the power band.

I guess I would be getting even more gains if I'd throw down the cash for a tuner next. On a side note I have a lot of parts and boxes sitting around now from all these recent mods..

Anywho let me know what you guys think!

Oh yeah I also forgot I installed my bedrug too!

Trying to squeeze a deal out of AA but they aren't willing to go along with my plans so I may have to wait on the tuner for a while.

I didn't pull my battery or anything and I can feel the difference with the two..definatly a nice increase of mid-high end power.

Drove for a while on the highway in the rain and I noticed two things...My MPG kept going up and when I finished my drive the intake was very dry, and cold despite the warm engine bay.

Thanks again for the TB Andrew! I don't mind being on the receiving end of your trail and errors sometimes

Nice!
Why do people disconnect the battery? Does it reset the comp into thinking and knowing there is something new
I didn't have the TB long enough to see any changes in MPG but def notices the better response.

Glad I could help you out.
I wanna be the receiving end of your vararam. So when ever you're ready

Nothing really going on now as I've pretty much finished with the most recent mod spree... I think.

Anyways!

I am contemplating getting the Trinity though because depending on how Superchips responds to my questions I am not 100% sure I will keep this. The power is very nice when you mash the pedal.

With that being said a draw back is everyday drive ability is down. The truck is acting like the battery was unplugged. It doesn't know when just to shift like it used to. Doesn't want to hang onto gears very long and will randomly shift when accelerating under moderate throttle. I am a MDS user and it doesn't know what to do with MDS either.

More to come...
