Carrying this over because it is a mod!

The camera doesn't do the headlights justice but they look awesome.

Alright here is the finished product. In all this little project cost me about $40 bucks in supplies and just my time. I used primer, paint, and clear from Autozone and I must say it turned out very well.

Was the ain't autozone specific or what what's the brand?
I want to do the same to mine when it arrives.

That is my favorite mod of yours.
With the vararam, I thought the engine cover was removed too?
I like how it's painted...

I used dupli-color for it all. The color I went with was burnt orange with metal specks. Was really easy to do.

For the vararam lid I sanded it down with 320 grit sand paper then went to work with two coats of clear primers...about four coats of paint and one small can. Of clear.

The hemi hat was just primer...a lot of paint then clear.

Yes the cover was supposed to be removed because if you take out the stock air box you lose the crank case breather hose and you have to use the stupid thing that comes in their kit. Since I am keeping the stock air box to make up for the space I got to keep everything the same minus the big intake hose. Makes for an easy install too.

Saved this!!!
We have dupli color here too. I gotta see if they have the paint I want and need. But you make it look so easy and it turned out great.

Great work Arth, nice paint job, but here I get a little confused, the hose that goes to your original air intake, its the Valve cover Breather, this uses the suction from the vacuum caused by the engine breathing in air through the intake of the old air box, this suction is what pulls the oil fumes out of the Valve cover area and are sucked into the engine intake to be burned. How do those now get sucked in if there is no more vacuum being created by the air intake not being connected to your now disconnected air box? If not using this vacuum to remove the fumes from the valve cover area, why not just remove the old air intake box and dead plug the hose or the valve cover itself? Just wondering?

Oh and the site still wont let me give you reps
