How do those now get sucked in if there is no more vacuum being created by the air intake not being connected to your now disconnected air box? If not using this vacuum to remove the fumes from the valve cover area, why not just remove the old air intake box and dead plug the hose or the valve cover itself? Just wondering?

Oh and the site still wont let me give you reps
The vararam kit comes with this thing to block it off but it prevents the use of the hemi hat. I wanted to keep my hemi hat so I just left the air box there because the hose is a tight fit. Besides...a painted air box is better than no air box...?

What if you ran the Valve cover exhaust to the catch can, then you would still have vacuum and it would catch the crap from that valve cover in the catch can? Just a thought. I did not know you lost your hat when installing the Vararam, They should of figured a way to catch that vacuum off the the vararam instead of just blocking it off.

Honestly if I wanted to I could drill a hole in the small tube next to the air inlet sensor if I REALLY wanted that vacuum but I don't think it is that big of a deal.

Cool, thanks for the heads up, how much room is there next to the air sensor, would not want it all gummed up with oil crap from the Valve cover, or it getting mixed readings from heat being pulled in from the engine?

Never-mind I just seen the pic of the red tube, ya, just across it to the left of the air sensor would be good.

This is something I may do....
Just need to find an inlet connector that has a tapered end to slide into a hole and then sort of locks in because of a smaller neck....similar to what is provided with other CAIs like the K&N

You can find them on ebay for about 500 a pair. Retroshop.com already has corresponding HID kits.
