Default tranny issue?

My Laramie has 21 k on it. When I stop to park and put it in park I hear a clunk sound from reverse to park. It also from time to time will jump slightly when u put it in drive only sometimes though... could this be a big issue with tranny?

I doubt you have any big (or small) trans problem. Clunks going into (or out of) gear are a fairly common thing. In the case of Reverse to Park, the driveshaft will be torqued up (when in Reverse, at a stop), and then when you shift to Park that torque is suddenly released. This causes the driveshaft to rotate back to its "neutral" position, and since you're engaging the Park pawl, you can bang the park gear against the pawl tooth. This normally gives you more of a CLANG than a CLUNK. But either way, I don't think it's anything I'd be concerned about.
