This maybe a dumb response...but have you made sure the car is fully engaged in the park position?

If the truck is properly in 'Park', then you likely have a problem with the WIN module which will be replaced under warranty. Although not very common, I have heard of this issue before.

Just happened to me yesterday. Took me a minute to figure it out but all I had to do was take it out of park and then put it back in with authority and the key released.

Yeah, that just happened to me yesterday when I got home from work. Pushed it a little harder into park and it went fully into the "off" position and came right out.

this happened to me when the truck was brand new. like it was stated earlier in this thread i took it outta park and put it back in again. my guess is with everything being so new maybe getting it to fully go into park needed a breaking in period. hasnt happened except for a cpl times when the truck was new.
