Default jammons mod thread

I have had this truck for about 7 months now and it has currently about 48,000 miles. Its a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L SLT Silver. This truck has been my commute to work but now I want how I want it. Its "MY" truck. lol. Anyways here is a list of what I want to do in the future but with the way I work it will take some time. Slow is good though right?

Here is the truck currently......
016.jpg

The only thing I am concerned about is if black would look good on my truck. I am wanting black rims just dont know how is would go into the silver and chrome. I am not a big fan of chrome so I really dont know how to go about this with the color.

Here is my list to look forward to what I will be installing.......

HID Headlights
Cover for the bed (either tonneau cover or a shell)
180 degree tstat
new plugs (I hear there are 16 in this truck)
step rails
new tires
cold air intake
lowering the rear
mud spats
modified TB
window tint all the way around
flexfuel debadge
bedliner spray
turbo (still looking into)
sound system
electric fan

I know there will be more while reading on here but this is just a start for now. Any advice will be accepted. When I install an item I will add in how I did it with pictures. Hope yall will enjoy.

Can't wait to see what you do . Black would look great with the silver, and the chrome goes well with the silver IMO. Check out timmy's truck, it's silver/chrome and dropped and looks great.

First thing I did a few months back is installed LED lights on the interior and exterior. I didnt like how the inside was so dim and when I needed to search for something inside my truck at work I had to use the flashlight on my phone. With these new ones they brighten it up and makes things so much better to see. I dont have pics of the inside but I do have them for the exterior. I put them into the reverse lights, tag lights and the cab lights.

These are the lights I got from superbrightleds.com.......

Only thing I had about the can lights is they would stay on while at night. They werent bright but you can tell if you were to pass by me that I had lights in there that seems like they are half dead. When I turn them on they brighten up the bed nice. I dont know why they stay on.

I have gotten use to it finally. Just curious to why it is staying on.

Real quick I am sorry if the pics are small to see and having to click on them is a hassle I know but if someone can tell me how to get it to be big pics I will do it.

This pic is just a little bit of my truck and my work.......

i will be back home on tuesday and after that I get two weeks off to do things on my truck. I will be looking forward to doing 180 tstat, platinum plugs on the top and TC. Possible tint but for sure new tires. We will see about the window tint. I will have pics and write up on here showing how I did it.

^I agree lol

Don't do platinum plugs, use the oem plugs. It'll run better with oem.

I bought it used with 36,000 miles on it. I put on the rest. I work on the oil rigs so I was having to drive 700 miles every other week. Oem plugs then.
