Which exhaust setup do you have stock? If it is the duals out the back, then a catback is a waste of money, replace the muffler, they y pipe, and maybe delete the resonators, and you will be happy.

^^^Agree. If you don't want to go crazy just replace the muffler. A catback system is a waste of money. I would suggest Magnaflow and take off the resignators.

Or you can do what I did. Have Y pipe cut off and run true dual exahaust with 2 Magnaflow straight through 14 in. mufflers, Magnaflow X pipe, and 4 inch Magnaflow tips. Mine sounds awesome...not to loud...not to tame either. I have recieved many many compliments on the sound. Deep smooth rumble. Before this setup I had a flowmaster 40 series muffler and resignators taken off and I wasn't happy with the sound. It was only a bit louder then stock.

Good luck.

Borla gets my vote for sound, but flowmaster and magnaflow are significantly cheaper.

Thats why I don't have Borla right now. I did on the 05 though and man it was NICE.

Readster1, not trying to come off like a jerk but do you really think your gas mileage went up all due to a muffler swap???? Seems like every time someone installs a small bolt on their mpg goes up. Heck I should be getting 30 mpg then with the stuff I added...lol.
