Default si/so with duals trouble

Hi, New guy here but have lurked for a long while. 2012 ram express, 3.92 rear end, drop in filter and fastman tb.

I bought a aero turbine 3030xl thats si/so. I took off the stock pipes and muffler and clamped on the 3030 just dumped under the cab for now. Went to an exhaust shop to see if they could weld it in with my magnaflow ypipe at the end of the turbine for easier install. they told me it would be a ton of work and would be about 4hrs of labor. has anyone here installed a si.so on the dual tip exhaust?? if so, how much did it run you? heres a pic and video.

So you have stock dual tailpipes, and want them to weld the y pipe in between that and the single pipe by the muffler?

Go to a different shop, that is extremely easy and should be cheap.

Interesting thinking to get a dual exit out of a SO muffler. The Y pipe is usually to replace the factory Y section that then leads to muffler and then the exit.

Yeah man I remember you now that you say that. I don't spend much time there, I do check in every now and then though. I pretty much stick to the Z.

So did you sell the dakota?

LOL 4 hours and 500 dollars in labor? I had a guy completely weld a custom set of Cherry Bombs. True dual all the way through and delete the Resonators. 2.5 inch pipe with the perfect bends and welds. Been complimented at a couple meets around here in Houston on his work. People saying he is top notch and show/race quility for sure. Took him 42 minutes to do, and part of that was him needing to stop and take a crap because he had just ate lunch. Two Cherry Bomb Extreme Mufflers and a completely custom welded and professionally done true dual setup was 350 dollars. Laugh at that guys face next time you see him. My guy would charge 50 dollars and it would take him longer to put the truck on the lift than it would for him to actually do it.

alright, finally got the exhaust done yesterday after waiting like 3 months. but got it welded up for just over 200, and 2hrs worth of labor. sounds alot different than before.

I'd like to see some pictures as well.

Your truck looks great, I really like the wheels. I really want to get some new wheels, but want to stick with 17's, although those 20's look really good plasti dipped...
