Default Aux Switch Panel Question

I just installed the Aux Switch Panel in my truck, I used the power/ground from the cigarette lighter plug. However, the panel has no back lighting...I was wondering if anyone used a different wire that gave them back lighting. I know with the Canbus system, everything gets sent by signals rather than just straight voltage, so that's why I'm asking the question. If you installed an Aux Switch Panel, do you have back lighting on the switches, or do they stay dark?

Thanks in advance.

They stay dark until activated; when the single LED for each switch gets turned on. Otherwise, they are flat black. The lettering is not illuminated.

Thanks, I looked at it again. I came to the same conclusion, I thought it looked like the other switches till I looked closer. My indicator lights do work. Time for a single LED under the center seat to illuminate it.

Pics? Not sure if I am understanding what you installed. I am looking for the AUX switch they featured on the Power Wagon.
