the catch can captures the oil that your Smog System wants to put into your combustion chamber, by way of your throttle body
This gums up the throttle body, & then it goes down onto the pistons, the spark plugs fire & because oil can't ignite, it just cooks & makes carbon deposits on top of the pistons. None of that is good for your engine.
With the Catch Can capturing that oil, you don't have that issue. You just need to empty the unit at each oil change. I empty mine at 5,000 miles, it is right around 1/3rd full.

The Throttle Body Spacer just makes a whistling sound, it does not increase performance. In my opinion, they make good expensive paper weights

the Y pipe is flattened & round would be better, if you feel the pipe that passes by the transmission, it is also flattened, seems to me that is a lot of restriction

Thanks GTyankee-really helped!
I'll have to look into an oil catch can.. and possibly a y-pipe becuse yes, I have heard that they are very restrictive but would replacing it hurt the hemi that requires backpressure?
Your truck seems pretty nice and built up! If i may ask.. what does it mean to have it be wednesday built?
Thanks, Bex
