Default Plasti-Dipped my DC-2 Wheels - Good or Bad?

I finally bit the bullet and plasti-dipped my DC-2 wheels this weekend, but I'm not sure if I like it or not. What do you guys think? Keep it or ditch it?

I like it ... goes well the the dark, rugged look. Nice job.

Both give you a badass ride, but I like the black-out the best. It gives you a more utilitarian look to your ride and matches the spirit of the rest of the gear on your truck.

Thanks for the comments and replies! I think (at least for now) I'll keep them black and see how they hold up. Plus, (like this never happens right?) I had never seen these wheels before I ordered them, and since then I've probably seen them on at least 3 other vehicles in the area...

You can't tell except maybe from the head on pic, but I also added spacers to kick the tires out a bit to sort of change the attitude of the truck. So far the comments on the new stance (from the people who know the truck) have been positive, I'm just hoping the spacers don't cause any undue wear to wheel bearings, etc. due to pushing the weight out a bit further on the hubs...

I like a nice wider stance myself. I hate to see 33inch+ tires and they are like tucked inside of those wide fender flares everybody puts on. Wider stance looks more aggressive. Also on the trail I notice they tend to dig through mudd better.

Any who I would not however run spacers to achieve the wider stance, but that's just me. Had a buddy who owned one of those newer 4 door jeeps. Had 4 inch lift and 35 terra grapplers with spacers for a wider stance. We were in it one day after mudding and was making a right hand turn into his neighbor hood and all of a sudden we both saw his wheel roll right passed us down the street. Was pretty hilarious until we came to a stop and the back in dug into the ground from the momentum shift :P

OP keep the plasti dip! Urban assault truck!
