Just another option....airaid has an oil-less drop in, I think it's called syntha-max or something. Basically the same thing, but you don't have to oil it which I like. I've had it on my truck for about a year and love it. Just clean with dish soap/water, let dry, then reinstall. Either choice is great though. I paid ~$50 for mine brand new on ebay.

Not to sound dumb but the drop in that your talking about is just the rectangle filter in the factory air box. Not an entire new air box.

Truck was sold today [5/19]. I got an offer I couldn't turn down. I had no more need for a pickup so I cut it loose. About to purchase a '14 Jeep SRT8 this week.

I've used k&n filters before and they seem to help the exhaust sound a bit louder. Could be my imagination though.
