Hey pal. I was gonna go with those but after seeing a few rams w/ them on i'm glad I had the coin at the time & bought the amp power steps. Unless your lifted in my humble opinion the ram sits too low & they look funny. The foot loop seems to sit like 4-6 inches off the ground. If you can afford it go power! The look on peoples faces when the doors open & the steps fold out is priceless!

I'll check those out, thanks. I have a friend who has the RBPs on his Silverado and they look good on it but as you mentioned his is lifted.

Don't know how set you are on RBP but there's other brands identical to them that don't sar RBP for about half the price

I didn't want bars or boards but my wife was having trouble getting in so I let her pick which ones she wanted. Thank god she didn't want those power boards. Look a little feminine to me. My choice was RBP(look) and I think they would look great on a stock truck. She picked the trail fx 6" black.

Cool

Fem I think not! I will admit the wife when posed w/ the option of the rbp's & the amp power steps did go right for the power step however. Unlike the rbp's which do look tuff & cool, the amps aren't seen at all. Until the door opens & they shoot out! I've seen the rbp's on a non lifted ram & I swear they couldn't have been more than 5 inches off the ground. Not cool! In addition they are rounded w/ some grip holes in the top. Imagine those caked up w/ snow & ice in winter. w/ the amps they're tucked up & even w/out mud guards they stay 90% clear when they drop. I had them this/ last winter & no issues w/ ice or snow. Granted it was a mild one but it still got cold out. Plus if / when I lift my truck, Amp makes a bracket / hinge kit to extend the steps lower to ease entry. I don't think rbp's do? They cost more but they're so friging cool!
