Default Carpet is soaked....

I have noticed that when i wash it or it rains, i have wet carpet under my floor mat. Has anyone here had issues with water leaks in a Ram 1500 or Indy style?
I dont want to have it get rusty, being in Michigan it will happen double fast!
Thanks in advance gang

I'd suggest getting someone to spray the areas prone to leaks while you look for water on the interior.

The main place it is probably leaking is from the Third brake light stop lense outside on top of cab. The seal goes bad and rain water and or car wash gets inside and soaks everything under seat and floor board, not to worry, get it all out though the carpet and everything needs to dry completely. Reseal the third brake lamp assembly and you are good to go. If it still leaks after that you could have a rear window seal leaking this is not as common as the third brake light assembly. Hope this helps.
