Default 2011 strange shifting tranny

Hello all,

I haven't come across this issue anywhere else in our forums so here goes.

When operating in automatic mode, tranny shifts perfectly between all gears.

When operating in push-button manual mode, 1st gear to second works fine, but 2nd and 3rd gear are like exactly the same. 4th and 5th are fine.

To elaborate, an estimate of 600 rpm between shifts gears 1 and 2. 2 and 3 will have an estimated 100 or less rpm difference.

Again, only happens in manual mode; auto shift points seem fine.

I had the tranny 're-learned' by dealership a couple weeks ago but no change.

Any Ideas?

Yes sir, you are indeed correct in describing your feeling in your trans shifts between 2nd and 3rd. 1st gear ratio is at 3.00:1, 2nd gear is at 1.67:1, 3rd gear is at 1.50:1, 4th gear is at 1.00:1, 5th gear is at .75:1, and 6th gear is at .67:1. It is operating as designed and as you get more manual shift time logged, eventually you will develop the double right tap to go from 2nd to 4th gear when reaching the 5600rpm powerband.
