Default McGuaghy 2/4 lowering kit

I want to install the 2/4 lowering on my 2012 Ram 1500. Do you have to use a coil spring compressor to remove the FRONT coil springs?

no not if your careful you can just use a jack and lower it down it should just fall off at that point worst case a couple twists of a pry bar or a whack with a rubber mallet should get it off... just ordered the McGaughys 2/4 kit i will do a right up of install the only difference is that i am going to cut a coil or 2 off of the springs to have it sit as close to 3/5 as i can
