Default Gas Mileage ? 33x12.50 20

I am really thinking about putting 33x12.50 20 Mud Terrains on my 2012 Ram Express Hemi and leveling it.. I will be taking off the 275/60/20 Goodyear HP's..

How big of a difference will I see in fuel mileage ? Anybody have this set up ?

I am also considering going 275/60/20 but the cooper zeon LTZ..

Any input is appreciated ..

With the larger tires and them being mud terrains, I'll bet ya you will lose at least 2mpg off the top or more.

You are basically selecting the same size tire that you already have, just going a little bit wider and going to a mud terrain, you might lose a bit on MPG, but not enough to really notice, IMHO.

Anyone have before/after MPG numbers? I'm sure someone here has made this swap.

I recently added these same wheels on to my 03. When I did, I noticed MPG went down about 2-2.5MPG. But now I am back up to 14.5 hwy and roughly 11.5-12 in town with the gas tuner installed, cat back 3" exhaust, K&N cold air intake and new plug wires. The other factor that is unknown for me is I did add a canopy shell that may help reduce drag over the bed but I don't know for sure if that really makes a difference or not. However my last fuel up I added 23.2 gallons of premium. Odometer said I had 341 miles on that giving me 14.7mpg which was mostly hwy driving on this tank. Also should note I had the dealer recalibrate my speedo for correct RPM which I think was 630rpm for these tires.

my dealer charged me $60. I tried doing it myself with the Bully Dog GT tuner, but it did not work for the '03 and the fuel economy data is still incorrect on that as well. But I do get the benefit of the tuning.
