Not at all, Fast. Like I said, I think they will look awesome on your truck! I bought them from ebay seller domestic parts. Definitely a little pricey but well worth it imho. Let me know what you think when you get them.

A word of advice, these shields being aluminum are a lot heavier than the plastic stockers. The front one is held on by two screws but the rear is just held on by adhesive. It doesn't even use the alignment holes. The rear one came with 3 pieces of tape on the back. Not nearly enough to hold the weight in my opinion. I practically covered the back with additional adhesive to make sure it doesn't shift or fall off.

Thanks for the advise and giving me the OK :smile up:
Yea, billet do have weight to it but it is quality you are buying.
I will do the same once I get it and apply a bit more on the back.

Whats next on your mods list?

I think it looks great all blacked out.

If anyone is interested in selling their stock badges let me know!

Think it looks real good! I've never been partial to the Ram emblems. Wanted to shoot the damn ram's head off my 92. I'd love to do a Scat Pak Bee on the front. Does anyone know where you can get custom emblems made at a decent price? Also can the rear emblem be completely removed when I de-badge?

Hey Mophead,

Thanks man! I like where your head is at. I'm not sure about pricing but you could check out www.billetbadges.com.

To answer your other question, behind the rams head on the back are two alignment holes that will be visible if you remove the badge. Also, there is an indent where the ram's head sits on the back of the tailgate. You could completely remove it but if it were me, I wouldn't be happy with just the indentation and the alignment holes being visible.

Well tomorrow I should be getting my remin interior dash kit. Hopefully I can find some places to spruce up and customize the inside a bit. Also, when the Bakflip VP comes out later this year I will be putting that on. I love the Bakflip and was about to purchase a G2 but I didn't like how the hinges looked. The VP hides the hinges. I can't wait to get my hands on it. I'm tired of sweeping out my bed and cleaning bird crap off of my linex spray-on.

What about you? Other than the billet badges. What's next on your list?

Yours look bad ass on that black truck, but I love my stock RAM badges. Makes the Fjords and Square Fenders (Chevrolets) look ridiculous.
