ok, i have a 2000 mustang with drag radials on it i will pull them off to get a better jump I'm worried about hitting the governor early though...they or 10.5 Aluminum rims with a 315/40/17 radial i think it makes it a 23 inch profile... something close

I think the mustang has a 5x4.5" bolt pattern where as your truck is a 5x5.5"

This would be an interesting test. $2400 worth of n2o and other parts vs. a 606hp diesel that is much heavier. I have no doubt the diesel would last longer but I think the gasser would still whoop it's butt.

I say run em! Ive ran 2 diesel's. One was a 4th gen Dodge Cummins with exhaust, and tuner from a slow roll. Around 20-25mph and I put about 2 trucks on him and held it till about 100Mph..

The other truck was an 04 Chevy, big ass stack, tuner, not sure what else. Went from a dig, not sure if he was 2wd or 4wd. But at the light he was spoolin it up and smoke was dumping everywhere! We stayed door to door till 75-80mph and we got out of it.

Just run em man, And be safe about it! Use that camera.

you should look again because unless you changed it mustangs have used the 5x114.3mm pattern which is a 5x4.5 going back to at least the '99s.

Gantman brought a very good point to the table.

Get YOUR time slip and keep it with you. If he's man enough he'll produce one.

After you see it, you can believe it and still save face. It also gives you some practice on your reaction time and adjust your ride if you still feel you have to run it.

Heck, if he doesn't you can have a lot of fun telling him to hit the snooze button again and when he does decide to wake up out of his dream bring it.
