Bigred, it will fit in the factory location, BUT with the body lift you could have some issues with the connection to the TB. I have done it with K&N, by heating the tube and slightly and slowly bending it. My old '97 Ram had a 3" body lift too.

I haven't looked to see how S&B makes there tube, but you "COULD" cut it and place some flexible tubing in to adjust for the body lift.

And to keep this thread on track, I just ordered my S&B.....

Amen to that... But I do highly reconmend the S&B especially as an enclosed for offroading to prevent water and mud from splashing on it when mudding. As much as I want to praise it, Grub honestly has the best review you will be able to find on here. After reading it I was sold and have never regretted my choice. Even for a scoop you could try custom fitting dryer pipe or something of that sort and then place a plug on it or only use it when you know you are gonna be doing hwy driving and know your not gonna follow the trail less traveled.. And I prefer pulling into Canadian Tire and Tim hortons covered in Mud instead of Walmart

Ok awesome, i was thinkin the cutting and adding a flexible tube to it option. just wanna make sure its gonna look right lol

Hahaha ya but i dont have those in my part of the woods lol

but ya i think im gonna mod it for the body lift plus make some kind of diy scoop out of piping... whatever i can find at walmart since this town doesnt have a lowes or home depot

Cant wait for it to get here tho!! ups says thursday. il post some pics up
