Default Hate crying wolf but what causes this

Ok so i got my oil changed monday
Castrol gtx 5w-20 7quarts watched the guy change it (got a chance to look under the truck as well) started it up sounded good
Ran it hard it didnt seem like it hated it.. And had multiple key cycles after that well 3 total lol

Today we had rain during last night and much of this morning
Can't recall how it acted this morning. But at lunch slow to fire off. Didnt think much of it. After lunch (heading back to work) turned the key and it spun over so i killed it via key and it started (really) i killed it incase it was a engine malfunction. Oil was good and full. So started it up again and hit the throttle (dont think it helped on a electronic engine) she fired off, held rpms at 4k and she didnt miss or at idle or under load)

I have good oil pressure no cel got white smoke but i assume condensation and it wasnt a slow crank so i have no idea.

Just fired it up again after sitting for an hr and started like normal

I hope its fine really need this truck to run taking a trip next week lol
Also co-worker used to work on engines.. He said its the weather causing the batt leads to act up ie bad connection i doubt it do it cranked normally.

My work is only across the highway (or 5min walk) (so I drive if its bad weather like rain or i need the truck..)

Um...ok? I suspect there's a good reason he doesn't work on engines for a living.

Just check all your connections at the battery, starter and ground. Make sure they are clean, not corroded and tight.

mine did something similar (hard start, white smoke with light blue tint), eventually started to misfire, had to replace top end. hopefully you have better luck

Started up like normal, about 3 times before fire..
Took it on a slight out of town trip was easy on it, it did fine then went wot (had show off mode on she got side ways some then again at 40 so all 390hp is being worked .. No cel or anything so i took her to 100mph and she hauled butt to that speed got her home and reved it up some no smoke that I could see or hear a miss.. So i let it sit and idle some before shut down. (I do that with all my engines)

Batt connection is tight

Found this, but if the batt was going bad wouldn't i have more issues or slow to crank.. I had a batt go bad on my 96 but it gave me issues that a old batt will cause

Have you actually had the battery and charging system checked by a professional, or is the coworker still trying to diagnose it?
