Default 2007 1500 Leveling kit problems

Hey all, Im new to the dodge world and love this truck. Bought a set of Daystar 2.5'' leveling blocks and attempted an install and they would not fit. first issue was it was dang near impossible to get it on top of the spring then when i finally got it in i could not get anything anywhere close to bolting up. Am i missing something. I have put kits on all my other trucks but it was a steel plate bolt on so this is my first experience with the rubber blocks. Any help would be much appreciated thanks ahead of time. 2007 Dodge 1500 5.7 2wd

I'm not totally sure about thisbut I would make sure the leveling kit is for a 2wd truck. I didn't think that the strut blocks would work on a 2wd truck.
