Default newbie question on programmers

Hi all I'm new to this forum and thus far I love it. I own a 2006 Megacab Laramie loaded to the guts with a 2 1/2" HBS level kit 20 x 10 XD ROCKSTARS WITH 305 55 R20 Trail Grapplers. I'm in the market to buy a programmer this week and have eyes on a couple.
1st Diablo Trinity, what's the advantages vs disadvantages
2nd superchips vivid advantages vs disadvantages
3rd bully dog gt advantages vs disadvantages
I've also got flowmaster 40 exhaust and plan on purchasing a k&n cai when purchasing the programmer. What's the best bang for the buck that has a monitor. Thanks all

Firstly, forget about the Bullydog, they have great diesel programming but fall far short when it comes to thier gas engine ability. Your two choices should be between Diablo and Superchips. The biggest question you need to ask yourself is how far do you plan to go with mods. If you plan heads/cam or some more indepth mods then you NEED the diablo for the supported customing tuning ability. For the mods you've listed, the Cortex would be my recommendation since it has some ability to tune the transmission in addition to giving you a boost in the hp department. Other have claimed that the predator does provide more power, but not being able to tune the transmission does have its drawbacks as the 545rfe is the greatest weakness in our trucks.

I myself run a trinity and am very happy with it, I monitor and datalog regularly in support of my mods that's why I have the trinity.
