Well it's at the shop right now. A good buddy who has done the tint on all my vehicles is using Llumar 20% for my front two windows for $50.00. All the other windows were factory tinted. I love this forum for this reason. Thanks so much guys!

Can't wait to pick it up in an hour or so. Maybe I'll post a pic or two of before and after to help any future RAM owners.

When I was looking, I found a reputable shop that has been in business for like 20-30 years, not a fly by night place. They use Llumar, and it has a lifetime warranty. Where I am, I think legal limit for front windows is 28% but I wanted it to match the rears(factory dark windows) so they did 15% for me and it is perfect. They even wrote down 30% for warranty. Cops don't hassle us much at all here for stuff like this unless you're making yourself a target.

Very Nice!! I'm wondering if I should call him now and switch from 20 - 15.... BLAST!!! lol I'm sure i'll already be pushing the limit in Texas with 20. They pull you over here for no front license plate. So the last thing I want is more attention. But I do want it to match the rears. Dang Regulations.

Yeah it is pretty much perfect as can be. I originally asked for 20% to match, and they said it would be close but 15 would probably be closer. Since it's not a big issue where I live I wasn't worried about tickets or anything, and my windows are down 95% of the time anyway...

I just let it go... right now it's about 100 degrees daily, so I figured being that my windows will be up most the time during the day I need to stay somewhat moderate. Thanks for the input. And I'm really digging the hat brother!!

Alright so here are the results fella's. Let me know what you think. I honestly think that the back ones feel lighter now!!! DAMN!!! It never ends, does it??? hahaha

Before tint and de-badge

After!! so stoked with the results. Totally different look IMO.

so...... I think I am being a little noided out about my truck. I always noticed the 'Mopar E11' stamp/logo on the windows. I noticed it was on every window, my windshield, rear third cab window, and sunroof. I always wondered if it was different than their standard glass.

Well today after picking up my truck, I realized my drivers side rear does not have that logo. It has 'DOT....something....' I instantly felt like I got shammed and maybe someone at the shop needed an original mopar window, but then I noticed my dogs nose smears on it from this last weekend, so I felt like it couldn't have been switched out today. But it was at some point. Perhaps before I purchased it used.

So to stop my rambling, I guess my question is this. Is their a significant difference between aftermarket glass and this 'Mopar E11' glass?

^looks good! Amazing how your 20% Llumar looks like my 15% Llumar lol. Must be the color of the truck(your black makes the windows look darker, my white makes them look lighter???? I dunno).

And I have no idea what you're talking about with the glass lol. I doubt they changed out the glass though, it's a somewhat involved job...

hahaha I had a feeling I might have been a little hard to follow with that rant!!

and I have a couple black window shades in my winshield in that photo, so it probably just makes them look darker because of the no light coming into the truck. I'm sure if I took another without the shades, it would look much lighter. I was just trying to see if they matched as far as hue and darkness.

and to maybe clarify what I was talking about, even though I agree they probably did not swap my window at the shop lol <----Crazy!!!! haha

if you look at your windows, on the bottom left corner there is a stamp/engraving that says Mopar and it has E11 in a little circle. I'm guessing this is their way of branding the glass or something. But I am really curious if this glass is special in any way? Acoustically? Thermal? blah blah???

At some point during the life of this truck the rear drivers side window was changed, and i'm just wondering if it is contributing to any unnecessary interior noise, heat, or light/UV.

Again me being OCD and just taking advantage of the vast knowledge on these forums.

Thanks in advance.
