What Ryank said about the "adhesion promoter" is good advice. ensure you clean ALL the oil/soap off, use alcohol to make sure it has no body oil from handling, then spray away. Black should be your color choice as (at least all I have see) are black and seeing the abuse they get, seems best. Good looking job.

This is what I picked up for the paint and the silicone for the hole that the speaker wire passes through. Is this all the right stuff to do the trick? should have the speaker mounted and in the truck by Sunday. Then I just have to figure out where to mount the amp and order the wiring and dash kit to get it going.

I'm not sure which part you mean but I have all of the stock console sitting on my bedroom floor currently at the moment. Except for the cupholder of course

Ok, cupholder is painted black, it looks good I think. There are a few messed up spots in it I guess I need more practice or maybe it wasnt clean enough when I started or I should sanded it maybe with some really fine sandpaper to make sure it was all really smooth. But anyways here is a picture as it is right now.

Wow sorry it has been forever long before I've gotten back here I've been super busy with work and havent even had much time to get it done...Anyways I attempted to Vinyl the box and that turned into a nightmare so I went with an easier plan B It turned out ok I think carpet is a little darker then the floor of my truck but I think it matches the seats pretty good at least..here be the pictures

Also while I was installing the box I got a scratch on my cupholder I painted on the drivers side and it drives me crazy and when I look at these pictures it stands out but I'm sure it wont be the first scratch it gets over time

Man, that looks AMAZING!
It looks stock!
You should put a little tray on the ledge of that box so you can put change, your phone, etc.
Just a thought
