Default Turtle wax "Black Box"

I tried the Turtle wax black box wax kit , and was impressed with the results , the kit comes with 1 bottle pre cleaner, 1 bottle carnuba wax and 2 bottles of spray detailer all of these have black pigment in them, It was surprisingly easy to use and took hardly any effort at all, anybody who has ever waxed/polished a black truck, knows how tedious it can be, I had many surface scratches in my paint and small chips on the lower panels , and swirl marks down the side of the box on the drivers side from a body shop that repaired some damage a few months ago, all imperfections have disappeared, with less than 2 hrs of work by hand for a $30 kit , and I have enough left to do the entire truck at least 4 or 5 more times [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

very true , you'll want some "fast orange" to clean the black pigment off your hands lol

Your truck is so good looking! Looks sharp. Seeing those pics with the wheels and tires makes me want new ones. Keep up the good work man!

Thanks , I'm more inclined to "function" more than "appearance" but, I was impressed how it turned out

I have mixed emotions on "clay bars" , You need to understand, they remove imperfections, by lightly sanding away the surface of your clearcoat , so, I would only use it in cases of oxidated surfaces , the factory paint used on todays vehicles is super thin, it does not take much to go through the clearcoat and then through the paint, especially around corners ,edges and body lines

Looks great!

Although I am not a fan of the Black Box, you have an awesome looking truck.

I don't want to diminish your hard work nor how good your truck looks, however, damn that is some beautiful country in the background!!!! Reminds me of when I lived in the mountains of Colo.

Has anyone used products like black box or similar products on any other colored trucks obviously not white or beige but blues, reds, light and dark grays, do they have a deepening effect or is it just blotchy ?
