Default tires??

i understand that this is a 4x4 discussion but i have a 01 ram 1500 2wd. I have a 3 inch body lift and 3.5" fabtech lift with 33" tires. I want to run 35" tires but idk what to get and don't want to spend much money. any ideas? also do you think i would get stuck a lot if i went on ameture/intermediate trails with the 33" or 35"?

35's will fit in the rear but not in the front -- they'll hit during a turn and/or with a good deal of suspension movement. As far as getting stuck goes, 1st question is do you have a "Posi" rear end? If you don't have a limited-slip differential, locker or the like, tires aren't going to make much difference when only one of 'em is pulling & the taller you go with tires the taller your overall gear ratio is too.

I ordered my truck with 4.10 (Posi) gears because I intended to put taller tires on it immediately -- standard ratio was 3.57 & going from the stock 28" tall tires to 33's would have dropped that ratio down a lot more. As it is, 75 mph is only 2100 rpm, but that's in the diesel's peak torque range (1700-2700) -- tall tires/gears with a gasoline engine really kills low-end power.
