Talking 2000 Chrys Cirrus

alright well if you haven't heard, I bought a white 2000 Chrysler Cirrus for some transportation. my mother in law stumbled across it and snagged it, for an awesome price of 275$.

it's in decent shape but you all know me...

so begins the build page for what has been deemed "The 275$ THING"

Ill get around to some basic pictures of what I have for a beater when I get some time, but here's a couple ideas I've been toying with for mods

I have to retrofit projectors into it, these headlights are horrible, so my old rams retrofits are being salvaged into the THING

I plan on plasti-dippin SOMETHING lol, just not sure yet

Thanks to TimW I have a huge aftermarket CAI from a duramax? that will be fabbed onto the tiny little four cylinder, just for Shits n grins

and some amber leds all over it, because the interior gauges are all amber.

considering chopping the springs as well, want a inch er so lower stance.

not looking to go crazy on this THING, but I am bored without a truck and this is what I have for now. please all have a great laugh at this, because I sure do!

Ok Señorita, lets do this!

For starters you need one of those huge ricer mufflers, simply because we all know how much horsepower that adds

Spolier, it helps hold the car on the ground when speeds are 200+ mph

You should plastidip the whole car. Maybe purple with pink butterflies. Something new and exciting!

Since your adding the air intake, you must come into the box with multiple pieces. Meaning run a piece of hose from the bottom left and bottom right of the bumper. Aww Wtf might as well put a snorkle on it too

Last but certainly not least. 4 inch drop with some twenty fooooos. Skrait up thuggin

find me a big wing for my trunk and I'll put it on LOL. MAYBE one of those Subaru wrx sti style wings would be nice, probably double my horsepower with that mod.
definitely would need racing stripes too.

seriously the CAI from Tim is easily half the size of my engine. probably won't fit under the Hood..... I could chop a hole in the Hood for it though....

Yea were all aware how much hp the sti spoiler adds, you need it

Are you thinking two stripes or one big with a little one of each side, either will be sufficient in letting people know the amount of power that's under the hood

I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw it doesn't have the 2.5 V6.

my first real mod is going to be retrofits. it probably will prove to be quite a challenge due to the compact design of the headlights, I don't think my current projectors are going to fit with the shroud on. I emailed TRS about it and got some fitment figures, they also agreed that my morimoto minis probably won't fit. they suggested running it without the projectors shrouds. if I absolutely need the shrouds, they'll either need be modified or the housing will have to be modified. so it looks like that will be a fun challenge.

it has to be done, I'M better off driving by moonlight at night than using these headlights.

after that mod, I'M tackling the intake from Tim. as you can see in the engine picture, There's not much room for a massive CAI, so it's definitely going to get interesting under that Hood LOL
