I have the volant and love it

Build quality 7 (everything seems good)
Sound 9 (sounds freaking awesome, but can't hear it anymore due to super loud straight pipes)
Performance 5 (maybe a little faster acceleration, nothing too major, this is what vararam is for)
Installation 5 (everything is good except for where it meets the air intake deal in the fender, that is the crappiest fit I've ever seen
Overall 7 (I enjoy it but I could've gone with something cheaper and less bulky and been just as happy

I have the vararam. It works, haha I'm not sure about any gains, can't hear it personally, I'm going to try cleaning it tonight, get the bugs out the got sucked up through the front.

Build id say 7, doesn't fit over somethings near the radiator, had to kind of push it down, but the fit to the hood looks great

Performance 6 maybe? i can't really compare it. didn't get anymore gas mileage i don't think, never really felt the horses or acceleration, its hard to feel 10-15, when your already at 390

Installation 8, was really simple, fits well, just don't follow the instructions they give you because they skip about 8 steps haha, if i did it again i could do it in 10 minutes

overall 7, Looks awesome, gets a lot of "Ohhh"s because its so unique, i have nothing to really compare it to though

Never washed my engine bay yet, all you'd have to do is put a towel around it, and just spray around it and not directly in it haha. Cleaning is every 6-10000 miles

I just put my Volant in two days ago and i love it!

build quality- 8
sound- 9 (by sound i mean the sound when you get on it, it made the exhaust sound alot deeper and throatier as far as it actually sucking in air i cant hear it from inside the cabin)

performance-8 (Throttle response is alot better and the power is WAAY noticeable)

installation-5 ( as anyone who puts one in will tell you the design team could have done better but it still fits good)

overall happiness and referral- 10 (I freaking love this thing! Defiantly would recommend it!

One thing that made me go with Volant is that its a closed box and a dry filter two big ++ IMO AND no maintenance for 100k miles, so they say.

I have the Vararam and it's pretty sweet.

Build Quality- I'd say is pretty good....maybe a 7-8

Sound- 10- if you like it quiet

Performance- I can't really say I saw any improvement. I expected a little more wow factor, but I haven't offically compared it thru track testing. I like the design and it makes sense that it would work well. I give it an 8

Installation- It was really easy...I give it a 9

Overall- It just looks tough and gets lots of compliments
