I posted this in another thread, but do you guys think the 1 7/8" primary tubes are to big for a lightly modded 5.7? Will low end torque suffer with these?

When I read the article on DT forum he said he used stock cats and mid pipes? And he had a 2011 rc express with a 2010 PCM. I was thinking f doing this mod but I don't want to go threw the route of the PCM swap. I like the headers.

i dont see how he would use the stock mid pipe unless he cut it and rewelded it. I like the mod as well but others member say that long tubes have lil effect unless they are tuned.

Can't say I'm surprised, it has been proven the Jeep SRT8 manifolds work on 4th gens. It would follow that the same application headers should fit fairly well too.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe people are saying the 6.1L SRT8 is the one to go for. That'd be the WK so 2005-2010 MY should be the ones to look for, however I don't know if the 6.4L shares the same ports as our 5.7L or if anyone has ever tried the WK2 headers/manifolds.
