I was looking at someones set that had been powder coated and it needed to be refinished again.
Never heard of powder coating requiring to be done so soon....as it was done recently.

If something has been properly prepared, and the powder coating is applied properly it is a very tough finish, it will resist minor impacts, it definitely harder than paint, I suspect the wheels you were looking at we're not done properly, when they did my wheels they blasted all the original powder coat off, it was so cheaply done by AR it just came off with hardly any effort. Most factory powder coating is simply a glorified baked paint job, you need to find someone who specializes in it, that's all my guy does, powder coating

Heading down to pick up my fog lights, but look what showed up, my air tanks for the suspension, out of a 2013, they will tuck up above the spare tire between the frame rails, all stainless too
