Only reason I dont want to do a lift on the front is we have the lifetime maximum care warranty. That is why I was figuring removing the plastic piece would pick up clearance without voiding my warranty.

ripped mine off hitting a sand dune at 55mph wayy too steep.. ripped it off threw it in the bonfire, never looked back. Haven't noticed any mpg or handling change. Different year trucks but it still has the same effect. Yank it off! goodluck

I went down to introduce myself to the service manager at my local dealership and asked about a leveling kit, tires, and the few other Mods I wanted to make and he said there would be no issue at all unless I went with a 4"+ lift kit

It is through chrysler. They have a couple of different versions. A lifetime powertrain.. a lifetime middle of the road version... and then a version called Lifetime Maximum Care. It is billed as 3 year 36,000 mile parts and labor extended for life. The dealer threw it in the deal to get me to sign.

I guess it's because you get to the point of creating bad angles on the front drive shaft and/or ball joints ?? Or maybe because the kits come in: Leveling,3",4" and then jump up to 6" ??

I'm cool with a simple leveling kit to keep my lifetime warranty though
